Our most recent project, Splotch Labs, is a web application with the goal of making it easier for chemists to quickly view, process, analyze, and export their raw NMR data. It is currently in its beta release and it is available for free- try it out and let us know how we can make it better!
The Splotch Mobile App was our first offering and it was meant to be used by analytical chemists to categorize and organize TLC data in the lab. It is currently available on the Google Play Store and it will be made available on the Apple App Store in the near future.
Splotch was first conceived as a tool for researchers in chemistry research laboratories to catalog, share, and eventually publish their experimental thin-layer chromatography (TLC) data. While much of this data often remains unpublished or underexploited, Splotch provides scientists with the capability to quickly capture, organize, and annotate photographic TLC data. While this first application was built with chemistry researchers in mind, we fully intend to expand the feature-set to provide useful tools to a variety of disciplines.
The creators of Splotch are committed to providing quality software tools to researchers in order to enhance the reproducibility of their science. The current focus of our efforts is on developing tools that assist chemists with analyzing data from various techniques used in the lab. Our most recent offering, Splotch Labs, is currently available for free during its beta release. Feel free to check it out and start learning to process NMR data in the lab!
